Haunted Lab
You're a mechanic called in to do some repairs on electrical equipment in a lab, but when you arrive it becomes clear that something isn't quite right. Worst of all, you think you're not alone.
Controls
Recommended: Gamepad + Mouse (labels given here for XBOX360 controller):
- Left stick: move
- A: interact
- LB: hold to run
- RB: hold to show inventory
- Mouse left click: use menu buttons
Alternative: Keyboard+Mouse:
- WASD: move
- Spacebar: interact
- Ctrl: hold to run
- Shift: hold to show inventory
- Mouse left click: use menu buttons
Gameplay Tips
- Sound is your friend! You'll be able to hear anything chasing you before you'll be able to see it.
- Sound is also your enemy! Your pursuer is not the only one that makes noise, and you aren't the only one that can hear noise.
- If you are caught, you will be able to resume from when you entered the current room. If you're having difficulty, consider leaving the lab often to bank progress!
About this game
This page has the most up-to-date version of this game, which was originally made for the Godot Wild Jam #74. This was my first solo project for a game jam, and I struggled to recognize that I had overscoped the game early in the project. This version of the game is a more polished version of the reduced-scope game that I pivoted to making near the end of the jam. Some notable changes include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Playing in browser works
- Actual win/loss conditions
- Sound less obnoxious (or at least more quiet during most gameplay)
- Better lab layout
- The "Pursuer" wildcard is no longer bugged
